Problem re: Leadtek Winfast TV 2000 XP Deluxe

I just installed the Leadtek tuner and I have encountered an issue. While watching TV on my monitor I get a black and white flickering line across the top of the screen. This happens no matter what size I make the viewing window. Anyone have a fix from experience?

Also, I would appreciate your insight on what software apps Leadtek users have found useful.

I think you have an underscan problem. If you use overscan you won't see the line anymore. The leadtek application doesn't have an overscan option, but you can use Dscaler. This is a free program and also gives a better picture quality. In Dscaler you also can view teletext. (the overscan option is in settings--> video adjustments)

Some other tips:

- You can get the free program called girder. This is an remote control application. Girder allows you to use the leadtek remote control for every application you want. You have to use the leadtek winfast plug-in

- If you want to capture you must get Virtualvcr. This free program allows you to capture in every resolution (up to 768*576).
