Pinnacle can not even make Studio 8 work...so I want to see their ability to bring this one to market. Besides DVDXCOPY is far ahead in the DVD back-up business.

DVDXCOPY CanNOT and Will NOT copy DVD-9 to DVD-5. Let me think here, Do I want One Disk (Instant Copy) or Two Disks (DVDXCOPY) with everything? Standby one, it's going to take me time to think on this one. NOT! :P

Pinnacle Instant Copy is TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE. Took a ~7GB movie and fit it ALL on ONE DVD. LUV U MAN.

As often happens, "it depends". For movies I don't much care about (my wife's chick flicks) or that have little action, IC is great. In fact, it's great on any movie on my 25" TV, but I'm thinking of the future. To back up something like the Matrix, I'll split to 2 DVDs for when I get a 60" plasma screen!

Does Pinnacle have trial version of this 'wonderful' InstaCopy? I don't pay to beta test!!!

I have been testing this for a few days now. Very promising outcome with a few reg tweaks. See Massages all over the net.

This should answer any questions and point to demo. Be advised there is another similar product by VOB something or the other I think this is the above mentioned Instant Copy CD/DVD not the same.

It's an earlier version - Pinnacle bought the software from them. Notice Instant copy is version 7 and the other company's offerings end with version 6.5.

InstantCopy is awesome! It beats DVD2One no contest

The only advantage DVD2One has over InstantCopy is the speed.But the speed is useless if you can't get the program to do what you want.

I use Instantcopy for DVD's with episode's for movie's I use DVD2ONE I say try the demo and see what one you like I use both
