I'm trying to rip a DVD with DVD2SVCD and I'm getting "cce encoding failed: AVIStreamRead() failed (0x80004005): Unknown error." from cce. Since EZBoard apparently has a quota of days to spend sending me junk mail before they'll let me use my account, I can't post to Doom9's forum, so maybe someone here can help. CCE get's through the vaf creation, then gave me this error a few hours into the encoding. This is my first DVD rip (unless you count past failures for various reasons), btw. I have had one problem after another and solved them so far through this and Doom9's forum, but can't find anything on this one. What would cause this error? I know I'm a little "behind" with my PIII/450 and 224MB RAM, but this is becoming a very depressing (and fruitless) way to spend a weekend... would this imply that my AVI is corrupted? any ideas for workarounds? I can give detailed info if it makes any difference, but I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary as far as my video encoding, so for now I'll save myself the keystrokes...
