    is it possible to make my pc drive region free, or is there any software that i can use that lets me change the region unlimited times. i live in the uk so would like to be able to change to region 1. many thanks for any help.

    Yes you can, depending on your specific hardware. Most popular drives have hacked bios available for them. You will need to reflash your drives bios, then use a program like DVD genie, or similar to patch your software player to regionfree.

    If you want any more specific help please provide your brand, and model of hardware. Alternately I've got a good hunch that an approriate search on these boards would yield some good info.

    Also searching with keywords "region free PC DVD" on google yielded 70+ hits.
