I used the vcdimagerGUI Easy to make .bin and .cue files and I tried to make chapters while using it but when I play the vcd in my vcd player it doesn't allow me skip to the next chapter. Any idea what I did? Also, I used Nero 5.5 to burn the .cue file so it would become a VCD. thanks

I suggest to use CDRWIN instead of Nero.

I used the VCDImagerGUI Easy and I put in the times where each chapter was to start but when I play it in the DVD player (standalone) the VCD stops when I press the button to get to the next chapter. If you have time could you IM me and maybe help me out. IM is bostran1. thanks

I tried same thing (chapters without menu) with VCDImager0.7.9 too and it did not work. That's a problem of our dvd players. But it work perfectly with VCDImager0.7.10.
Unfortunatly VCDImagerEasy does not work with v.0.7.10.
I guess you want to use a GUI, so I suggest to use TSCV. Today I used v.072rel2, probably it is not the newest.
TSCV can create (yes, actually VCDImager do) (S)VCD with chapter and menus. If you want a VCD 2.0 as above, just delete the <pbc> section off the .xml.
Hope this helps.

I'll try it with the other Guis and such and see if it works. I went to the tools page, clicked on TSVC and the page wasn't found. Know anywhere where I can get it?

I got the version of TSCV from the tools sec and I got VCDImager version 0.7.9 and something goes wrong when I try to create the cue/bin. no xml is generated and it says that the file is wrong. I am 99% sure it has something to do with TSCV and/or the version of VCDImager I got. This is what the log in TSCV says if it helps:
Starting VCDxBuild process...
TSCV will not react until VCDxRip has finished.

There is an otion to save the .xml before create cue/bin.
You did create a SVCD image, that's the WARN, but it also reported "finished ok"
Here you will find the latest version
VCDImager 0.7.10. -
Don't really know what you mean by Nero not finding the .cue
But as my "standard tip" is: put the .bin and .cue in c:\temp (or similar) and change in the .cue to match the dir/file . (A line should be "BinFile.bin"
It should here be "c:\Temp\BinFile.bin" it should ALWAYS work fine!

Nero does not correctly burn CUE/BIN images.
It may be fine for a single track disc, but for anything more than that (which are all VCDs), it creates problems. Most signficantly, the PBC authored content will probably not work.
I strongly suggest you use CDR-Win, Fireburner of CDRDAO.
Regards.
