    When copying a stereo recording from a stereo VCR onto a mono VCR, is it normal for the sound to be out of synch when played back on a stereo VCR?

    if it is a direct connection - no

    if it goes through a reciever it is possable but unlikly

    What do you mean by going through a receiver? Could it be because I'm playing it on a mono TV? I played the same tape back on a different stereo VCR which was connected to a stereo TV and it was ok.
