Hello![]()
After a lot of reading here, I can burn DVDR's that contain the movie only (1 audio, english subtitles) with the greatest of ease.
However, I'm trying to burn all the extras (with menu) onto a separate DVDR and I'm a bit stumped.
For my movie only disc, here's what I do:
1.Rip disc in File mode with Dvddecrypter.
2.Transcode main movie with DVD2one (awesome program!).
3.Burn.
Now for my extra's disc, can I just delete the main movie VOBS (.IFO,.BUP), get VTS sectors with IFOEDIT and burn? I actually tried this (deleting VOBS only, not .IFO and .BUP) and it loaded ok but froze at the main menu. I tried to delete the trailers and logos in the main IFO file also so I'm not sure if I did this wrong or if my whole method is wrong (still new at this).
If this won't work, can I replace the main movie VOBS with really small "dummy" VOBS?
Any tips or guide recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Remember, all dvd must have a VTS_01_x set in order for it to work so if the movie is VTS_01_x. You cant just delete it. Try dummy VOB's and get VTS sectors. If movie is not the VTS_01_x set then delete all vob's and IFO's and BUP's then hit get vts sectors in ifoedit and it should work. Make sure that none of the extras are on the movie vts set. Hope this helps

Thanks for the info!
I suspected that might work but I didn't want to waste anymore blanks until I knew for sure.
Another question, if the original movie has, say 4 VTs_01_x files, do I need 4 small dummy VOB files? Or can I just use 1? Either way, I know I need to get VTS sectors in IFOEDIT after.
Thanks again
