I've been waiting for a few weeks to get a Sony DRU500 in the UK, but still no joy.
I'm heading out to Chicago next week, and I see that the drives are a lot cheaper there, and in stock.
If I get one in the US, will I have any problem with a region1 - region2 type conflict on set top DVD players here, when I create DVDs??
Also, will authoring software supplied in the US support PAL/625line/50Hz?
