Nero - Cannot burn the ripped DVD to DVDR

Hello all,

I used DVDDecrypter to copy the movie to my hard drive and try to burn it into my Pioneer DVDR using Nero Express version.

I selected make DVD files in the nero and added the VIDEO_TS files
when I try to burn it complains about compability and stops burning.

Any help is appreciated. Am I missing something.

Did you include all the video_ts.vob, .ifo and .bup files as well as the ones for the movie?

Nero likes them.

I copied buf and ifo files and then nero complianed about file association error. (May be my previous tries wrote audio track in the DVDR media).

I saw a audio file tracko1.cda in the DVDR already and I try to format it using nero's InCD and it damaged the disk.

Do i need to re-convert the files after using DVDDecrpytor to make it DVD compliant ??

I may be having a similar problem to yours - did you figure out what to do with the fact that a ghost audio track appears on the dvdr? Here is my post regarding the problem (posted feb 4):

I am trying to rip a DVD movie. I used DVDDecrypter, created an ISO file, then attempted to write to a blank DVD. I have tried 2 brand new DVD+RW and one brand new DVD-R. The first problem is that in DVDDecrypter info. is coming up at disc not formatted and that the disc is empty. Then if you look at properties of the disc in windows explorer it comes up as being an audio CD with one track created in 1995 (remember it's a brand new DVD) I am using the SOny 500 dvd rewriter. My guess is it has to be something with the drive reading the disc wrong. When I try to "play" the audio it comes up with "no disc in drive". Other dvd's and cd's with info. on them are recognized fine in this drive. It just seems to be the blank dvd's (which are btw sony brand!!!) I tried erasing the disc with record now software that came with the drive - no luck. Any ideas? And also how do I format the DVD disc (though I didn't think I needed to do this with every blank dvd)? (I am using w98SE, 256 ram - let me know if you need any other info.)

I had the same problem and wasted one DVD-RW by formatting using Nero's InCD (Please do not use Incd to format the DVDRW unless you want to use it as a data disc)

Nero has EraseCD function which delete the contents of the DVD-RW media. (Use this to delete the contents.)

Please let me know how it works after using DVDDecrypter ISO write mode from HardDrive to DVDR.
