i have had 3 emails sent to me asking me to look at a file that had to do with this site. all 3 files have contained viruses. just want to let other know this so they can watch out for these files.

Yep, that virus is pretty common, I've gotten it 6 times already.

The sircam virus is very very very common...I get at least 30/day...since a month now. But I dont see what it has to with our site, the files that are included are just random files from your hd.

i posted this to just warn others, it has nothing to do with your site at all. the people who send this will say i saw your name at vcdhelp and want me to check this file out for them, that is why i posted. nothing bad about this site.

That virus searches for e-mail addresses in the HTML of cached web pages on your computer. If you visit a lot of pages in VCDHelp.com, you'll get e-mails from random people who are infected with the virus referencing very specific things within VCDHelp.com.
I set up a special Yahoo! account to communicate with VCDHelp users, so I have to be careful opening up e-mail in that folder precisely because sometimes you can't tell when an e-mail is genuine, or if it's the virus. -
I use a hotmail one because they scan all the attachments and because it is isnt affected by most of the worms that target MS Outlook Express
