    Is it better just to make a jpeg picture cd or to make an svcd slideshow of jepg's? I just one to run a disc that shows jpegd fading in and out (nothing fancy)

    If you can get your hands on a copy then the best programme in my opinion is Vegas Video 3 it does brilliant slideshows and its also very user friendly. The biggest advantage it has over similar programmes is your not limited to the amount of photo's in your slideshow, another added bonus is you can also add music and mpeg's as well.
