Its a mystery

Hi Guys
I am having a slight problem with my vcds, I make a vcd and it plays all the way through on my dvd player, when I try to play them in media player on my pc they are cut short, like about 10 mins missing, its like my pc in not registering all the data, yet they where made on my pc, and play perfect on my dvd player, my mums dvd player plays vcd out of the box, (Mine isnt supposed to) and the movie cuts off at the same place it does on my pc, any ideas, thanx in advance for any help

Your PC with the correct codec's should play everything.
That said, are you making totally compliant VCD's and what program are you burning them to CD with?
Nero can burn compliant and non-compliant VCD's. I don't use Roxio.

Im using instant cd+dvd, no matter what I play it in it cuts short, except on my dvd player, so all the data is obviously there,as my dvd player reads it, but my pc isnt reading it all, I think it must be my software, as when I made the same vcd in roxio, it is all there, on my pc, and dvd player, I just cant understand why it is happening, thanx in advance for any help.
