  1. When Playing back captured video The Sound is Fuzzy And lips dont synch. heres the story.

Hello. I had a system with an athlon 600 512 crucial 133 memory on an sd11 mobo 80 GB and 30 GB HD capturing I was losing frames at the very beginning but all around was perfect.
I recently got a new pc from a friend its an abit vh6-II mobo with the latest bios I added my 512 to the first 2 slots and put his last 256 in the 3rd put my 2 hds in as master and slave on the first controller and my 2 cd devices on the second controller and swapped his geoforce2 for my ati aiw 7500.
Everything works perfect except when I try to capture TV, the sound is all fuzzy and the lips dont synch. Ati mmc and virtual dub both the same I tried using huffy, mpeg and direct to just plain avi, nothing works.
I then replaced the soloess1969 card with my original sb pci 512, same thing
Im thinking I might have the incorrect settings in sound? Maybe mute isnt checked on one of the settings? I do have line in selected for recording. I did lower the volume on all the settings in volume thinking that would do it but no luck. Ive downloaded mmc 7.7 reinstalled the video card and got the latest drivers for the sb pci 512. Right now my primary controller is running in Ultra DMA Mode 4 and Ultra DMA Mode 4 for the slave, when capturing to both drives its the same story. Ive reinstalled the
dsp2dshow-20020930 and the ffdshow-20020617. Ive moved my computer away from the monitor speakers etc.. I had some services disabled in msconfig, just for troubleshooting purposes ive enabled everything. no luck. Im using the svideo, rca and coax inputs on the AIW.
Maybe the problem is becasue i just popped in a hd and expected it to work with the new chipset? I looked at Abits website and they dont have drivers for their mobo? is this normal for newer mobos? i went from socketr 7 to slot a now this abit so i wouldnt know? for my slot a i had to install 4in138. any other questions ill be monitoring this. And thanks to whoever can at least try to help out

Oh yeah. Its Windows XP. I had a usr 56k modem in there which i removed, no luck. i moved the sound card to another pci slot, no luck. in the bios the 4xagp is enabled.
im thinking resintalled MIGHT work but not sure, its gonna take me a half a week to reinstall and get things the wa they were with the service pack 1 and all the programs installed, (on dialup) so im reluctant to do so. any suggestions whatsoever im open to anything ive searched google sor 9 hours now.

well anyway i left the sound capture settings the same at 44100 16 stereo in vdub i tried a million different ones nothing worked.

SO i lowered the video to 320x240 and the sound isnt fuzzy anymore?
whast going on were going from a 600 to a 1.0 ghz machine although it was from an athlon to a p3 it still should be fine my hardware monitor says temp is pefect voltage etc...
