  1. Hi,

I need some advice on making a DVD.

What i want to do is have a 720x576 DVD clip play at the start of my disc and then is it possible to have like say 12 VCD clips available to play on the disc aswell.

I need this be with a menu at the start.

Now I think I would be able to do this in DVD workshop.
Is there a chance I would need to patch the headers etc like with SVCD's?? to get them to play on a DVD-R

Any help on this would be of great help.

    Many thanks

  2. VCD Video is compatible with DVD. You have to re-sample the audio to 48Khz though. So bearing that in mind, what you are proposing SHOULD work, though wether or not DVD WS or any other authoring app you have will actually produce a DVD from 2 different spec mpegs I can't say for sure as I have never tried it. If it imports both into the same project you should be ok.

    Hope this helps

P.S, don't forget about the audio!
