  1. I think that this is the closest forum to the problem that I'm having. What I'm trying to do is make copies of homemade DVD's that I have 2 at a time using Nero's multiple recorder option.

I have 2 DVD burners in my computer and both are working properly. I can choose which one has the source and which one has the target media and alternate between them but I can't pick both burner drives at the same time.

I purchased V5.5.6.9 of Nero and upgraded to version 5.5.10.0 via the web update and the option to burn to multiple recorders never even appears for me.

If anyone knows what I need to do to get this to work I'd be very grateful, Let me know if you want more info - Thanks!

  3. Thanks for the tip. Where can I go to check out PrimoDVD or to buy it (it seems as though they are Sonic now).

If you want to see the picture of nero's new capabilities go to http://www.nero.com/en/content/image.html#500cd-copy.gif.

If someone knows Nero and can help me out I'd still like to try to get that to work, Thanks!

  8. Does "burn to multiple recorders" appear for CDRs? If so, it must be a DVD specific limitation. If not, it's probably a limitation of your OEM version of Nero. If THIS is the case, post back.

  12. Wow! I don't know where you get this information but you're good! At that price I'll be very sure to check out the RecordNow - Hopefully that one will work for 2 recorders...

  13. I was checking out nero webpage some more and I found what you are talking about with the 7 and 32 recorders but I'm going to keep saying that in the full (non0demo) version of the software it says that it can make 2 simultaneous copies at once

Simultaneous Recording to 2 CD or DVD drives
from http://www.nero.com/en/index.html#c1002820773269 (that probably won't work so you can cut and paste this (http://www.nero.com/en/index.html#c1002820773269)

    what do you think?

RECORD NOW MAX will write to 2 recorders at once.
Go to the Advanced Options tab in both Record Now and Prassi to enable drives with differing characteristics. Do a test first

  18. For those reading this later on and wanting to know the answer - it is that I did not have a serial number for the full version - that is what I needed to get - it works with that...

  20. Got this little quote from www.nero.com

    6. Does Nero Support writing to more than one recorder at a time?

Yes. For how to use this feature in Nero refer to this link to a step by step PDF file: http://www.nero.com/en/index.html#c1034060180057 With OEM versions you can only write to one recorder. With Nero Demo and Retail versions, you can write to two recorders. For additional recorder support you must purchase an upgrade to a new Serial Key to support additional drives. Cost of the upgrade is listed below: Multiple Recorder Support

    1. Nero support max. 7 recorders simultaneous price 249,00 USD
    2. Nero support unlimited recorders simultaneous price 499,00 USD

Note: We have test 24 recorders simultaneously to date, and simply have not had the system to test more.)
