  3. You really should find some guides before you come to the forms. But if you want to know.

Get VirtualDub 1.3c (only version that supports ASF)
    Load the asf into VD
Choose Audio > Compression : No Compression
    Choose Audio > Conversion : 44100
    Choose File > Save Wave

    Download TMPGEnc http://www.tmpgenc.com
    Install TMPGEnc
Load Template : VCD NTSC. PAl if you live in a PAL Country
    Load the video file (ASF)
Load the audio file (the wave you saved)

    Now press convert

  5. Split after encoding. TMPGEnc > File > MPEG Tools > Merge and Cut

Or you could use "sorce range" in TMPGEnc settings.

  12. Why would you want to do a screen capture? there are much easier ways. The only time I would do a screen capture is if the file is otherwise very hard to convert. RM used to be a pain in the ass. But not so much anymore because of EO Video. That is the only format the I would ever do a screen capture for. And I don't have to do that anymore. A direct conversion is much better, and easier. Maybe you should also read some guides on how to convert asf.
