Yo Kai! Got a question thats not about 42!

First off I have been ripping divx for years. I have been ripping on PC's for awhile but now I am pure Mac. I would like to thank both you and Bilestyle for your great work. You have created an app that really shines on OS X and makes it easy for me to just pop in a DVD and go to bed. When I wake up, baaam.....a movie in the format that I wanted in perfect sync. Excellent.

The question that I have is more related to your home theater setup. I am going to mod my Xbox soon and wanted some more info. When you play a Divx file that is using AC3 for audio, does the Xbox mediaplayer output the audio in 5.1 or only in stereo? If it will play 5.1 through my reciever I will be stoked. I was going to get Sonica (using a special version of VLC for spdif) for my PBTi 1ghz, so I could use optical out from the laptop to my stereo, but the Xbox mod would be so much better. Also, do you burn your movies or are you streaming them from your PC?

Thanks again for this awesome program. I can't wait to try playing some of these movies on my Xbox!

Thanks. We're trying to make what *works* into something normal people can use. I know if the testers see the time on this post, they are gonna kill me because i was ORDERED to sleep since i'm not feeling well.

I have some on a bigger HD installed in the xbox, but the rest are streamed via xbms, a little unix streamer for xbox.

I also play the music on my machine and ipod this way.

I'm *supposed* to be writing a little GUI/Drag-Drop app for xbms on OSX...but I've been...distracted ;D

Its great. Having all of your stuff at the click of the remote is really neat.

Oh, I'm told the thing actually plays games, too if you like that sort of thing
