  1. Does anyone know how to make a copy of a dvd that has individual episodes on it?? I tried joining all the vob files and then fixing it up in ifoedit, but the damn thing didnt work (only sees the first episode not the rest)

I need to keep subtitles as well.

If I extract them all individually with dvd2one, it creates a nice 1.4 gig fully working vob file with its .ifo but its just one 25 minute episode... it would suck to waste a 4.3gig dvd-r just for that

Any way to combine 2 fully working authored 25 minutes episode on one dvd-r? (both of them equal 3 gigs together)

thanks to all who can point me in the right direction.

  2. So you're saying that you have two VIDEO_TS folders each with there own VIDEO_TS/VTS_XX files, and you want to merge them into one VIDEO_TS folder and burn it?

Right, the only way that _I_ know to do that is to de-mux the VOB files and then re-author the DVD, sorry

You're right thou. You'd think that there would be a way to use IFO Update to do this. Rename one of the VTS_XX files to to 1 and the other to 2, and then update the VIDEO_TS.IFO to reflect the new info...

  3. I have been trying to do the same thing and I guess there is no way to have vob_1 and vob_2.

I used vobedit to join segments extracted by DVD2one and then create ifo and get vts sectors in IFOedit.

I have now done this with the Sopranos and Band of Brothers without problems.

Well just 1 glitch. One of the sopranos disks has 2 chapters that were duplicated. It will play those 2 chapters and the next 2 chapters were the exact same thing.
