Hi,I have recently captured some movies off of DTV in 352x240.
Why? Cause it is the only resolution my card will capture in.
My question is What is the best way to encode this with Tmpgencn
and burn to DVD.Can I increase the Resolution or will it just look worse
The captured AVI's look very good.Also I tried a segment in 352x480
on my PC it looks streched ,will it display correctly on a TV.Thanks Jim

If you can, capture uncompressed and then encode to MPG2 for DVD.
If you can capture at 352x480, that will increase the resolution and after encoding will look better then 352x240 as a DVD.
