  1. When I burn in this program it only burns one of the 1gig .vob files in the VIDEO_TS folder and not the other 2. I follow the guide on this site and it doesn't mention anything about why it wouldn't burn all the files. Any way to make it burn all the files?

  4. ... I bought yesterday a dvr-105 pioneer and instant dvd 6.5 comes with it...

I burned my first dvd yesterday and looks like going fine...the only problem is that I installed it in win2k and IT MADE MY SYSTEM HANG (ntosknrl.exe error) after installing itself and win media player 8.1 (required for instant disk). IN win98 looks fine

What's most is that www.vob.de (his site) is "abandoned" cause they should have been acquired by pinnacle.. so NO TRACE of upgrade, bug fix and so on...
In the pinncale site they only talk about an upcoming instant copy disk (or something like that) but NO TRACE of instant dvd....

  5. What authoring software are you using?

I have had this problem in the past. I found it to be the authoring software i was using. I was using IFOedit and switched to another and it burned fine. However, there is a way to fix it with IFOedit (if that's what your using and need to use it) but i can't explain it here i am at work. I decided to get away from IFOedit. Will check this forum when i get home and report back.

Also, a good way to check and see if it will burn the entire movie, is to make an ISO image first and check the size. This will save you on having to keep erasing your DVD-RW.

  7. I had a DVD that wouldn't write the full thing it only registered 1gig, so I ran the vobs through DVD2one, it didn't compress them there was no need, but when I tried to write it, it reconised the whole thing and wrote fine.

It might not be the soloution but it works until we wait for tommyoz to get home from work to give us the answer

  8. Little John,
WOW!!! I apologize but i missed my bus and had to wait for the next
Seriuosly, i checked back to see if anyone answered my last post (i wasn't sure if you were using IFOEdit) and didn't see anything for a couple of days. Now that i know that your interested i will post the fix (at least it worked for me) But guess what, you guessed it i'm back at work.
This time I'll take the taxi.

  9. LittleJohn,
The reason why it took me long this time was because i had deleted IFOEdit and had to relocate it again to remind me of what i did. Only to find that it was very simple.

After creating your VOB's with IFOEdit, click on GET VTS SECTORS and save. This should fix the problem. At least it did for me. Try first to make an image file with Instant VOB CD/DVD and check it's size.

    Good Luck!!
