  1. hey everyone,
    i am using easy cd creator 5 platinum, and whaen i go to add an mpeg that i have converted using TMPGenc. it says that it will not work and in details it says the system clock reference is not right and has an X next to 1058, since i am fairly new to this i dont know what this is and what to do to fix it, thanks for your time

  2. If the "system clock reference" thing is the ONLY thing that is wrong, then this means that your MPEG has the incorrect pack size. That is, it was multiplexed by a program that didn't think that the MPEG was intended for use as a VCD.

    This can be fixed by demultiplexing and remultiplexing the MPEG with a VCD aware proggy -- e.g., TMPGEnc or bbMPEG. If you use the TMPGEnc, multiplexer, be sure that the setting is on MPEG-1 Video-CD rather than MPEG-1 Auto.

    Hi Menikmeati,

    When you use TMPGEnc, click the button at the bottom to "Load" and load in a VCD template. The output will then be exactly correct for a VCD, and Easy CD Creator will not complain you have a non standard mpeg.
