I have an encoded movie in svcd format which i want to burn i get this error when trying with nero:
The File "D:\File01.mpg" is not a valid file for creating a standard Super Vido CD disc. A compilant video file requires the following specifications:
MPEG-2 which was encoded for Super Vido CD:
audio: 44.1 kHz MPEG-1/2, layer 2;
sterio/dual-channel/multi-channel
video 480 x 480 at 29.97 Hz or 480 x 576 at 25 Hz
Following problems were found:
- invalid audio stream 48000 Hz, 2 channels
How do i fix this? I might want 44.1 audio instead, don't think my DVD player can handle 48k that well![]()
Thanks in advance...

Just like it says, for SVCD only a sample rate of 44100 hz is allowed, and yes, your DVD player plays 48000 hz just fine, except that 48000 hz is primarily a DVD sample rate.
Check the Convert and Tools section on the left to change the sample rate to 41000 hz. Just to save yourself some trouble, this should be done ahead of creating the final .MPG.
