i did all the authoring and all works fine , except...
i get "PLAY" at my Panasonic DVD-player instead of the timer showing the position of the movie... i guess this isnt a big problem but it causes me troubles...
what am i doing wrong?
and i got another problem...
DVDMaestro recognizes my BTC CD-burner instead my Pioneer-A05...
and there is no option to change it, only the BTC is shown...

with maestro -- you always make a image and burn the image with prassi or equal (not nero) unless you have a pioneer 201 .
timer thing is related to time code of the mpeg .. and if you selected asset based time code or 0-based . and if you have proper time code headers in your mpeg (CCE and Main Concept - yes , tmpgenc - no i believe) -
huh, im quite new at the authoring with maestro
and i got a problem here... prassi=?
not nero?!? it all works ok for now, i use nero 5.5.10 and just "create video DVD" and add the IFO files, the only thing i miss was the timer.
omg, does it means that TMPGenc is creating the mpeg without a timescale?
and there is no way i can do it with that mpg work in maestro?
im converting the DivX to M2V and wav with TMPGEnc
if that is my timer problem, what program can i use to extract the DivX and get appropriate M2V and audio?
there are some options about that asset thng but i havent checked what they are for. -
sorry, was just trying to express my feelings, maybe this works?

and my burner problem still here, instead of recognizing the DVD burner it recognizes my CD burner

you could burn the VIDEO_TS folder also like i guess your doing ..
Maestro was designed to be run on win NT 4 w/ a DLT tape and pioneer 201 authoring burner only .. -
im sorry if im causing troubles, im from Macedonia and i speak English quite well, but sometimes i get stuck with some phrases
about the timer thing...
i tried CCE, works much faster, but i get the video 3 seconds short than the audio!!!
i was doing that with TMPGenc and all worked fine, but im having trouble with the display at the DVDplayers it shows PLAY instead the time...
can i do something to make it all work with TMPGenc?
and i really like the quality i get with TMPGenc...
everything else is perfect, except that tiny thing, but looks bad when you want to scroll through the movie...
may i be doing something wrong in the authoring or it is the video that has no time assets by itself when created with TMPGenc? -
huh i tried CCE and im getting some strange output that maestro doesnt support
