I am new to this - i wanted to create a SVCD/XVCD quality CD to play on standalone DVD player. I am going to use TMPGEnc to encode, and use Neor to burn.
I would like to encode at a higher bitrate than 1150 that was available on the template that comes with TMPGenc. I have also looked at Sefy's template as well.
I just does not seem to find the option to change the bitrate!!! Help (It seems other varaibles can be changed-but bitrate is greyed-out!)

Yes, as you increase the bitrate the picture quaility improves and artifacts disappear. If you use multipass VBR things get even better.
