Virtualdub and Asus tv tuner problem? Please Help!

Is there anyway to get VirtualDub to work with the Asus tv tuner card. The software that comes with the card stinks.

Let me explain a little. I'm trying to capture with Virtauldub. I get an error 418: unsupported video format when I go into the capture part of virtualdub and another error when I try to capture that says: error getting compressor output format size.

I can see the video playing in the preview windows, just can't capture it. If virtualdub will not work is there any other software that will allow me to capture with Huffy and the asus card? PowerDirector Pro 2.1 comes with the card , but it won't let me capture with Huffy even though it's an option in the codec selections. The card also comes with PowervcrII , but all I can see there is mpeg 1 or 2 capture.

Looks like this card may be going back. Such a shame too as the picture quality through the s-video source looked much better than my old tv wonder pci card.
