  1. I have taken a Divx movie and converted it to 2 SVCDs with no problems, both the video and audio are excellent, by following the conversion guides. The problem I run into is when I convert from Divx to DVD. I'm using the lastest Tmpgenc to encode and VirtualDub to change the audio to 48hz wav file, then selecting both the vid and audio files and setting up Tmpgenc as the guides suggest, but after I encode it get a great looking picture, but no audio is present, can someone tell me what im doing wrong. TIA

  2. kbps must be 224 for dvd. Are you leaving it at 192? That could be your problem. good luck!

Thanks gurner2000 I will give it a try and see if that isn't the problem. dobie, I'm a little lost on what your telling me, I'm basically following the guide for converting the audio to a wav using VirtualDub then then selecting the wav file with the avi file wtih Tmpgenc , then encoding to dvd mpeg 2 format, but no sound is present when the video is played after the encoding process, can u be more specific plz.
