  3. you may have to enable tv out. i have an ati all in wonder card, and i have to enable tv out by going to "display properties". if that doesnt work for you, try calling compaq up and asking them how to do so.

    Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig diference.

But You can use TV for watching divx and everything else. The best thing for that is a VGA-to-TV converter.

  6. I hear that the program TVtool works great but mainly on PAL systems. I bought a scan converter and it makes a huge difference in the tv image quality. I was never able to get TVtool to work properly on my system though

  7. I got a tv out and tried connecting to my tv: I used s-vhs cable to a converter (input/output with video/audio in and scart out)and connected to my tv using the scart connector on the converter - but I got b/w picture. I've tried increasing the colour on my tv - but no success. Im not a big fan of Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin and was hoping to see some colour movies. Any ideas how to get colour ??

  8. On the first computer I put together, I thought, "I'll get an All in Wonder card, run it to my 19'' TV and I won't have to buy a monitor." Good in theory...in practice though, I could not read any of the text. I blew up the font size so I could read it, but the Windows error messages were still the normal size. Even though I knew Windows was complaining about something, I could not read what it was! Nightmarish. I know NOW why that was, because I was trying to read a 640x480 display on a 352x240 screen.
