  1. my sons want a couple of films that i have on vcd converted back to vhs so they can watch them in their room as they dont have a dvd player upstairs
now i have searched through all the forums and have basically come up with

to copy a vcd to vhs link the dvd player directly to the vcr and tape
this works to an extent but its covered in lines and all jumpy and keeps flickering.
i live in the uk and was wondering will i have to convert the vcd to a different framerate to get success.
i believe it could be a hybrid video recorder as it is pretty new and might just be this pal 60 that people know about.

is there a successful way of doing this

    please help

you might want to try boosting the signal from the dvd player with a signal booster box if your running it through co-ax cable.

Have had very good results myself by just using a direct scart lead connection from dvd player to video.
you know it's the anti-Midas touch when all you touch goes to shit..............
