I'm useing TMPGE to make svcd files. I all of a sudden have no sound for the files. Even if I convert via NERO or ULEAD. I just have no sound for mpeg2 files. I've got sound for MOV files and for old svcd files that were on cd, but any newly made svcd files will not play sound. PLease HELP. I'm freakin out! I'm using windows 98 and windows media 7 and the demo of tmpge.
thanks in advance

TMPGEnc
Option > environmental setting > VFAPI plug-in > DirectShow Multimedia file reader
Right click and select higher priorities, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4, or just below any Mpeg 2 filter (Ligos, Cyberlink)
Since Nero is also giving a problem, it sounds like you lost a audio filter, depending on your source that could be MP3 or AC3
See if these test files will help

yeah, I just tried these and they seem to work, it's just when I make a new file that it doesnt work. I just reinstalled windows 98 SE and I cant find anything thats different. I've got a version of XP and I'm hoping that will allow me to continue.
thanks for the help
