Hi,
when capturing in PAL format with the Cinergy 400 (SAA7134 chip) the frame rate never reaches 25 fps. I tested Fly200TV and iuVCR and in both the frame rate is somewhere around 24 fps or even lower! I also get lots of dropped frames and jerky video.
With an old WinTV card the frame rate always reaches 25 fps after some seconds. Regardless if I use VfW or WDM drivers of if I use VirtualDub (VfW/WDM) or Fly2000TV (WDM).
My system is fast enough: Athlon 1800, Win2k. I used to capture with WinTV on a Duron 700 computer without any problems.
This makes me think that there's a bug in the Cinergy drivers. Any clues?
[One day later...]
Now I get frame rates of 16 to 20 fps. The drivers seem to be a piece of crap!
