I am yet another person who can't get any sound from my avi file when I preview it in VirtualDub. I have run it through gspot and it says all codecs are installed.
I have tried to extract the audio and save it as a wav file but I get a error message saying:-
The requested audio compression is not compatible with the input format. Check that the sampling rate and channel count of the input match those of the requested format.
Does anyone know what this means?
I've even tried going into TMPGE and converting the avi to mpeg without extracting the audio. I can open the video file okay but when I try to open the same file into the audio source I get an error message saying it is a unsupported file.
Can anyone help me with this please.
Thank you
Karen
