  1. does virtual dub support MOV files? I'm trying to rip the audio from a MOV file to use in TMPGE. Does anyone know if it does support these kind of files or if i need a codec?
    thanks

  2. With the .mov mod to TMPGEnc you can load the .mov right in. and no, vdub doesn't support them.

  10. I had trouble with the sound with some MOV files with the TMPGenc plugin, I found that reintalling quicktime and selecting to install the "Authoring Component" fixed the problem. Hope this helps.

v-dub can suport MOV files ... load MOV file into vfapiconv and then load fake avi into v-dub
