Took my captured AVI. Rendered the video with CCE and the audio with TMPGenc. Multiplex with TMPGenc and get an MPEG2. Open it in moviefactory 2 and when it is time to burn it, it says that it needs to render it and it starts to render.
1)The box is checked "do not render DVD compliant MPEGs"
2)If both the audio and video are done in CCE, and then multiplexed in TMPGenc, no additional rendering by Moviefactory.
3)If the whole project is done in TMPGenc, it does not re-render.
The best results for me is with video in CCE and audio in Tmpgenc. Does anybody know why this would require re-rendering. Thank you.

Try multiplex with bbmpeg.
www.vcdhelp.com/bbmpegedit (change to dvd instead of svcd).
