I didn't know where to put this since there is no forums for CD-R/RW burning problems. So I've put this in here. I am using a HP CD burner and I installed the program that came with the CD burner called "HP RecordNow". I don't know why but whenver I went to create a new music CD and I inserted my CD-R, sometime in the middle of the burning process, there is a burning error. It's one of those "if your CD-R is dirty or broken" error messages and my CD-R is fine! So I have wasted another CD-R.

But, I've found another way to burn successfully! First, I have to burn to a CD-RW. After that, I'll have to make a copy of the CD-RW onto a CD-R. Why is this? Is there a way for me to just directly burn onto CD-R? This is a very annoying process.

Use Nero or any other burning program. I suspect that the program that came with your burner is version of Record Max Now,and ther is no worse program.
