  1. I've been trying to burn an 81 minute SVCD using MissingMediaBurner. I created files with GNU vcdtoolsx and when I drop the .toc file on MMB I get:

ERROR: Drive does not accept any cue sheet variant - please report.
    ERROR: Writing failed.

Anyone know why it won't burn?
I had a look at the .toc file and it's identical with a .toc file that _would_ burn with MMB.

Normally, I could burn the .img files with Toast, but can't as it's an 81 minute file.

    Help appreciated.

  2. I provided the MissingMediaBurner GUI wrapper, but the engine is a project of CDRDAO at SourceForge.net.

Lucky me, my drive takes anything cdrdao throws at it.
However, I am looking at cdrecord, for possible use.

A quick look at cdrdao's forum found this statement:
    http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=6284

"Since I last posted, I've learned that the DVR-A04/104 drives actually don't support DAO in RAW mode. I don't know what all the possible options and modes are, but my own conclusion is that it's just not going to work. Supposedly, the DVR-A05/105 has DAO RAW, so that makes me wonder: is it something missing from the drive's firmware, or some specific hardware capability?"

  3. I've been burning away very happily with MMB for about 6 weeks -
    Thank You Ross!!

This .toc file and maybe one or two others wouldn't burn.
I can live without this film.

  5. The Pioneer DVR-A05/105 which I just bought works great using Missing Media Burner! I was a bit worried after reading that the 103 and 104 models can't be used with MMB . It has been my favorate burning app since I discovered it a while back. I love the new tabbed version .4 The only odd thing about it is it doesn't hold the burner settings like the older versions did. You have to reset everything each time you use it. This isn't just with the Pioneer it also doesn't hold settings with my old Yamaha burner. Not a big deal just thought i should mention. Thanks again for this great app!
