ive been encoding divx movies to svcd but when i play them on my dvd player i notice that the colors arn't as vivid as they are on my computer. now i know that there are differences between the color on a computer monitor and a tv , just as there are differences in the resolution. but how do i get better color quality from the converted files? im using tmpegenc and i noticed that theres a setting for YUV format, but to change this you got to change the level to 2:2:2 at main level or something like that. will the converted file still play on a stand-alone dvd player after changing this setting or is there something else that im doing wrong?
