what exactly is a vb underflow/overflow and what kind of errors can it cause in an MPG

Buffer Underflow is when there's not enough data to support the stream and Buffer Overflow is when there's to much data going to the stream. Underflow/Overflow Errors' can cause your output MPEG file to become corrupted. These errors usually make the output MPEG unplayable. You can fix these errors by re-multiplexing the audio and video.
