Maybe if this site was called www.divxhelp.com it would be more popular...
.
I have anyway not yet tested it. -
Wow! How did u happen to come across this site. It's got nothing to do with DivX (or is my browser gone nuts). Anyway i clicked on u're link and it took me to a travel site by roar.com

What's new -
The latest version of the DivX encoder has 4 preset profiles:
Handheld, Portable, Home Theatre and High Definition video.
Depending on what profiles u select the encoder blocks or
allows certain settings like GMC, QPel, Biframes etc.
I believe they have incorporated these settings to enable
compatibility of encoded videos with hardware based DivX
decoders (Although I haven't come across any).
Bitrate modes include:
1-pass
1-pass quality based
Multipass 1st pass
Multipass nth pass
Original 1-pass
Original 2-pass 1st pass
Original 2-pass 2nd pass
The third option suggests more than 2 passes are possible
(anybody tried this yet ? )
The last 3 options suggest that the first 4 encoding methods
are totally new. -
a lot of various problems reported - see here :
