    does anyone know a program that will convert vob files to mpeg without re-encoding,
    at moment i use dvd2avi to make d2v then tsmpeng to convert to mpeg,
    but i was interested in converting vob and keeping same file size without 3 hrs of encoding

    Tmpeg can remux to mpg,I do it all the time to avoid frameserveing. Just open Mpeg Tools use simple remux. Navigate to your vob and click run.
