I am wondering, I am using Leadtek Win2000XP as my video input source, I have been capturing into AVI using MJpeg set at 20 for quality, however today I decided to try some of the settings in WinFast PVR software that came with the card. When I capture to a setting called DVD NTSC I get a really good quality video, since I capture into RAID 0 on a 80 GB drive I have plenty of room. However when I capture into that DVD which I am guessing is an MPEG2 I can not figure out how to convert it over into DIVX, when I try to open the file in VirtualDub I am not able to, it will not open it, TMPGenc opens the file fine & it converts it over into VCD for me but I want to convert that movie into DIVX.
Any ideas?
Thanx

Since you got TMPGEnc to open your movie you are halfway home. Once you load your movie, select File-->Output to file-->AVI file. Select the proper DivX format, name the file and save.
