  1. My first question is with Tmpgenc, I'm using version 2.59 plus and have tried a few times to convert a Divx avi to mpeg2 DVD, but there is never any sound, I even followed the guide here on the site and it told me to use VirtualDub to extract the audio file to a wav file, then join that wav with the avi file, but still no sound. I have also tried converting it straight without the use of VirtualDub, in both the VCD and SVCD format, but no luck either. Another question I have it the use of VirtualDub for extracting the audio file, it explains in the guide to select 44hz, but shouldn't it select the 48hz for DVD audio format? I would really like to understand this, it really can't be this hard, I have converted with the older Tmpgenc's to make VCDs and SVCDs with no audio or to much loss of quality. Someone please throw me a bone here.

    TIA,
    Zorin
