  1. Hey all--

I've got a slight problem. I want to burn a vcd from a bunch of RM clips I've acquired. Okay, I know how to convert RM to avi (then mpg), then bin it, burn it, etc.

My problem is this: When I convert the RM to avi, the framerate comes out all messed up. A 6 minute Rm comes out 1 hour long! So, I go to the original RM and check "Statistics" on the Realplayer to find the correct FPS, but it says NOTHING! It lists bitrate but nothing for FPS.

Is there any utility, program, shortcut, etc that I can use to find out this crucial bit of evidently "top secret" information??? Thanks for any and all help on this. You guys rule!
    Best,

    Cman

sorry, but you should attempt to locate mpeg copies of your rm's.

real media was simply not designed for conversion.

last i heard, all you do is tell virtual dub to match video length to audio length, and hey presto, it sets the correct framerate for you.
