Used Smartripper to rip only the movie (no extras) to two different directories (to split the movie), used IfoEdit to create new IFO's in each directory, chose ""VOB Extras" in IFOedit to correct IFO's, and chose "Get VTS Sectors" with boths discs so they can work in my standalone. Everything is great with the first disc but the second "sometimes" will not play. Its as if you have to wait for the standalone to cool off before it will recognize the 2nd disc. Could this be a cheap media issue? I'm using Princo 2X's, Toshiba SDR3750 stanalone, and Toshiba SDR5002 burner.

Which program you use for recording on Toshiba R5002. I have the same burner and had some problems with skipping and freezing of movies on DVD-R media in standalone player. Now I use ImageTool to create image of DVD after authoring and burn image using DVD Decrypter in ISO Mode - Write 1x. Now no problems with the cheapest media.

Interesting...I might have to try that. I use RecordNowMax and have been pretty successful with it, except for this glitch. Thanks for the info. I will give that method a try!
