DivX AC3 sound to WAV or VCD/SVCD or mpeg [how to]?

hope for some help here ....

I have "enemy at the gates" here ...its a 2cd DivX. I want to convert it to VCD or SVCD. The problem is the AC3 sound ....i did save the sound vith Viritualdub ....but the qualety was poor. So then i read that FRAMESERVING with nanddub or Viritiualdub would do the trick. But when i start the frame server .....and try to open it in Tmpeg....only the video is in the final *.mpg file. Couls someone help to set up the program right so i can get the sound in there to ....

Azid is a AC3 decoder tool. There is also a
AzidGUI.
