Ripping specific scenes?

Well, I got a bunch of movies and want to rip certain scenes out of them, mostly from gone in 60 seconds, and a lot from the upcoming simpsons dvd . I am good with video stuff, so cutting a certain scene out of an already ripped movie is no big deal, neither is ripping a complete one, but ripping a movie for a scene or two is not worth it to me. Is there a way to rip only certain scenes, or ripping small segments that wouldn't take 5 or 6 hours to convert?

You can use smartripper to first rip out only some specific chapters. Then you can in dvd2avi select the range you wanna decode by using the start and stop buttons.
