Hey Guys,
Was wondering if there was anyway to strip the DVD extras of a movie and only keep the menus for chapter selection, help would be appreciated,
Thanks![]()

Usually the extras are in different title sets.
So basically, you can rip the entire DVD and delete the extras from your HD.
Very important is that you rewrite the ifo files, especially when the extras are in a title set that comes before the title set containing the main movie.
I did a similar thing, the movie w/o menu on 1 DVDR and all the extras with the entire menu on another DVDR.

= Re-insert the compile movie VOBS
1. Rip the Video_TS files and movie IFO file and the TS_??_00 VOB into a folder
2. Cut and paste the compile TS_??_01,02,... VOBs into the folder. Sometimes, I need to rename them to match the ??.
3. Adjust the folder IFO with IFOUpdate.
4. Do a GETVTSSECTORS in IfoEdit.
5. Find where are the copyright messages (VOB-IDS) with VoBRaptor and DVD2AVI. Normally they are in the VIDEO_TS VOB or the movie TS_??_00 VOB
6. Do a "deleteplayback" of those VOB ID`s (IfoEdit). Save
7. Select the Video_TS IFO and do a region Free. (IfoEdit). Save
7. Do a GETVTSSECTORS again (IfoEdit).
8. Tests my output with a DVDplayer or IfoUpdate
9. Burn.

is it possible to "rip all files" but just exclude the vobs you don't want, leaving the menus etc. but the links to the extras wouldn't work?
