  1. Hi,

maybe I'm blind or anything else, but is there a guide which tells how to convert a ripped DVD-wav with Dolby Digital 5.1 to a SVCD-MPEG2 WITH 5.1 signal???

Please tell me, I hate cool movies with stereo L/R signals...

    thx

Don't think there's yet an up-to-date easy guide for Windows (was just Linux), but there probably will be soon. See Hypercube's site...

This of course makes a Mpeg 2 Multichannel (up to 7.1ch) file, which is usable with compatible-SVCD capable players and Mpg2MC capable recievers. If you're looking for something for VCD, Multichannel is right out. You can of course downmix to 2channel Dolby Surround and use std Mpeg1Layer2 encoding there.
