Okay

I want to try the following:

Rip all vobs, ifos bups etc using dvd decrypter
demux the video and audio streams from each vob using vobedit
the ususal stuff with dvd2avi and vfapi
recompress the video files with CCESP
reauthor the vobs with scenarist
rename the vobs to their original names
put the whole lot back together again with the original ifos, bups etc
burn to a playable dvd-r

It all sounds pretty plausible, I know, but I reckon there'd be problems with the lack of subs, additional soundtracks etc, so then I'd have to edit the ifos to remove all reference to these?

I know all about doing the rips, demuxes, right up to the scenarist thing but I haven't a clue about editing ifos, either with IFOEDIT or any other softs.

So, is there a guide to what I want to do. Not just something that says "first rip all your files with dvd decrypter, then demux using... finally use IFOEDIT then burn". I need something that sets out all the steps required (mainly for IFOEDIT or whatever).
