im trying to do shaolin soccer and im using smartripper
i tried the deafult settings direct stream, and demux the video. when drag individual vobs from the origonal dvd-9 to my powerdvd program, the subs dont appear. and the options are greyed out.
also tried dvd decryper, still no success.
any way to get subs into mv2 movie file with smartripper or dvd decrypter?
i do this way because its easy to put into spruce, i know spruce cant do subtitles but, if the subs are a part of the video it should be ok right?
thanks

You can only have subs in a M2V file when they are burnt-in subs.
If you're going to work with M2V files, you need to rip the subitles with direct stream copy. Afterwards you can use VobEdit to demux the subs to a txt file which you can later on insert in IfoEdit, together with the audio and video file. There are guides on the net for this
