I recently updated the firmware for my pioneer dvr 104 to 1.32. But every time I start my pc now it says new hardware found, it prompts me to install a driver but I haven't got one.... Where should I look?

very dangerous doing that, tried system restore,
probably wont help, can u downgrade ur flash? -
just go ok & if its win2k or winxp have your cd handy & it will look through the disks till it finds a driver, although I never had this problem

CD-Roms, DVD-Roms and CD/DVD writers/re-writers etc don't have drivers for Win9x and above (only DOS needs a driver), they use the std builtin MS driver.
I think your firmware upgrade went a little wrong
Go here and check for any info http://forum.firmware-flash.com it's a geat site for firmware and problems regarding it.
I hope this helps)
